First Day of College - Completed!

Yesterday was the day of move-in and orientation at the college I'm attending, and it was a crazy day. The process of moving in took a while (hooray for being on the second floor of a the parking garage and having to cart heavy boxes up and down multiple staircases), and then it was a series of welcoming speeches, conversations with professors, RA meetings, and more welcoming events.

I'm quite excited for the events of today (I got out of bed at 5:30, simply because I couldn't sleep), even though it's mostly more mandatory meetings and so on. Still, the people here seem to be wonderful, interesting individuals, so it's never really boring.

One of these days (hopefully quite soon) I will take some photographs of campus, because there are some beautiful buildings and locations. But for now, here are some pictures of the drive we made on the day of move-in. It was a gorgeous morning and made the longer trip much more pleasant.

Looks like you got an early start on your move!

We took the Catbird up to college on Thursday. Four days of orientation seem like a lot, but there's a lot to learn, too. Have a great time and remember to take a moment here and there to breathe--They certainly keep you busy during orientation.

You are sure ready to go, up that early haha there is a lot to take in the first few days. Ugg to the moving, never fun, but staircases makes it worse.

Cool photographs. The location looks stunning.
Yes, the first few days are rather overwhelming but it sounds like you're having a boss time.
